A little dream of mine came true last week when Style Me Pretty published this styled shoot that I hold very close to my heart! See photos and more details (including all the amazing vendors involved) below. A huge heartfelt thank you to all of the vendors involved, especially to Julie from As You Wish Events VA who I couldn’t have done any of this without!
I’ve always had a strong love for the vintage pieces that my mom collected throughout the years, but having a more modern style personally, the desire to marry these two worlds together has always been in the back of my mind. After picking up a few special vintage pieces from my parent’s home and incorporating them into a more modern setting, the concept of a Modern Vintage inspiration shoot began. These two style concepts really go beautifully together!
Pulling together DIY geometric himmelis, a DIY pallet table and a variety of metals and vintage pieces (including our coordinators cherished grandmothers gold band) created a lovely ethereal setting. By adding in the lush greens and old mill ruines at the Mill at Fine Creek and all the beautiful pieces from our talented team of vendors, we brought this inspired shoot to a whole new level of pretty! The best part? It’s incredibly obtainable with plenty of DIY pieces and special touches that any bride can make happen for their own big day without breaking the bank.
